OFFICE RENOVATIONS

We are currently completing Stage 2 of our office renovations with an anticipated completion date late June 2008. During this time, all visitors will need to enter our office via the rear – a gate just before the garage will provide access.

Stage 1 saw the creation of a design studio and new toilet/bathroom facilities added. Complementing this, stage two will provide a new and formal reception area; a new client meeting room; a new office or 2nd meeting room; plus a larger kitchen/staff room. We apologise for any inconvenience during this stage and look forward to completing business as usual.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Lateral Building Design and the business owners actively support Guide Dogs Victoria in Kew. To date, we have puppy raised (fostered) three Guide Dog Puppies “Georgia”, “Dessa” and “Faye”. Two of whom have been successful and have been placed in Japan. We are currently taking a break from “fulltime” puppy raising however we occasionally look after more mature dogs in the puppy raising program and a short term basis having had “Fia” in the past and more recently “Vicky”.

All of the puppies in our care have been or are regular visitors to our office. In August 2007 we became Exclusive Puppy Sponsors for Guide Dog Puppy “Vicky”. We also participate in the BDAV and RMIT Mentoring program in which we provide support to a Building Design student for approximately 8 weeks each year.
